Full details of how we operate with our subcontractors
We provide all of the customer interaction, all we need from yourself is to provide a date/time for the service requested, you tell us when it fits in with any other work, you are already planning to be in the area, and we confirm with the customer and yourself. Does not always work out like that but you can decide. All items sent straight to site and you do not have to take the packaging away. After completion of the job send the reports back promptly and we will pay you the following week on a Friday.
Initially send an invoice but we are looking at Self Billing which means Fitting4U can raise an invoice on your behalf to ourselves and then pay in the agreed timescales subject to your agreement, save you more time. You will receive a copy of the invoice for your records and accounting.
Its all about speed of response and saving time. If we do not respond with a date/time to a customer request in less than 24 hours we will lose the booking so its essential that we get a quick response.

We produce and share an area map that relates to the fees which is based on the time involved as an average to get to site. It’s what we send to all fitters so you can see if agreeable. Areas can always be adjusted. The initial map is based on where you travel already.
We initially work on about a 50 min drive to site from base but of course if you are already passing the location or some 30 mins in that direction your additional travel time negligible. If we can get multiple jobs in a direction that helps as well. The jobs are building up so we start with a map and see what comes in. It has to be looked at in terms of averages for all jobs.

We operate this way as with so many fitters too much time will be wasted on both sides talking about fees.
We have 2 apps that need to be used that saves fitters time and gives us what we need in a consistent format to have proof of the job and cover off any initial queries. Using the apps means that the fitter usually sends the information as they are leaving the location, nothing to do later when getting home. Less mistakes, no chasing which takes up yours and our time. We have setup and user instructions for the apps so everyone produces the information to the same format. These will be forwarded with the area map.
When fitters use the two apps correctly and consistently, we share in the time savings and pay an addition fee per job.
Work can be sporadic so just being available to take the occasional job will enable the customer base to build up.
